«Wandering through these complicated, steep, humpy streets, through these precipitous galleries, with their loose bricks, crossed by curbs to slow down the feet, amidst these strange buildings … » — H.A. Taine, Voyage en Italie, I, Paris, 1866 With its Etruscan walls, a gorgeous Medieval centre, Perugia is not only a city for the gluttonous (re: chocolate), but for artists and art lovers alike.
Thanks to the great variety of its territory which isn’t only rich in art and nature but also excellent food, Perugia’s the right choice for all kinds of tourists.
Urban trekking is a great opportunity to explore hidden corners and gems in the old town.
I booked this hotel based on the reviews of the service and the location. The location was incredible. We had sweeping views of the city from our 27th floor room. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel offers a club for guests if they arrive very early. I wish the massage chair was there the day we were using the club though.
